Public Comment Sought on Boundary Realignment
At its July 12, 2011 meeting, the Sacramento County Board of Education approved redistricting maps realigning its trustee area boundaries. In response to 2010 Census population counts, county board of education trustee areas must be assessed and adjusted to meet legally required population criteria.
The final Sacramento County Board of Education Trustee Area maps, along with narrative descriptions of each area, are being prepared and submitted for public hearing and approval by the Sacramento County Committee on School District Organization. The committee will meet on August 16, 2011, at 7:15 p.m., at the David P. Meaney Education Center, 10474 Mather Boulevard, Mather.

Hi Gang: As you read this, Im on my way back home from our annual family vacation to Kennebunkport, Maine (my wife chose Maine a few years back because we live in the scorching Florida heat, and at this time of year Maine is a place thats easy to get to where its nice and cool every day (we actually had to wear sweaters after dusk). So, we came for the weather, and but then fell in love with the people and the place. Maine is awesome).
Im off tomorrow for my new two tour dates in Canada (Calgary and Vancouver), so I dont have a lot of time to blog but I thought Id at least share a few photos from the trip (Including the HDR photo above, taken in the lobby of a boat house where we went for a two-hour harbor tour on the two-masted Schooner The Eleanor.

Debbie Hoachlander will never forget the sacrifices of her Central Dauphin High School classmates who died serving their country.
Hoachlander, president of the Central Dauphin High School Alumni Association, doesnt want anyone else to forget either.
Thats why she and the association created the Central Dauphin High School Veterans Memorial project, a granite memorial outside the high schools auditorium entrance in West Hanover Twp.
Our goal of creating a Veterans Memorial at the high school is now within sight, Hoachlander told Central Dauphin School Board members last week.
Our project is worthy of the honor and recognition that we owe our fellow classmates who serve, have served or have made the supreme sacrifice while preserving Americas freedom with honor and dignity.

- Create: This part is still a work in progress, but youll be able to upload your own data and create visualizations.

Clark James Gable, grandson of legendary actor Clark Gable of Gone With the Wind fame, is out to prove that he can make it in the same industry that made his family name famous.
