New York Film Academy MFA Graduate Ana Menendez is producing a star-studded flamenco event at DCache in Toluca Lake tonight to promote her recent producing project, short film Solo Duet. The film is directed by Marisa Lloreda Saez as a follow up to her award-winning feature documentary Streets of Flamenco. 

Tonights event will include a special performance by Frances best selling music group The Gipsy Kings, who sold more than 18 million albums worldwide. The group will perform live with flamenco dancer/actor Timo Nuñez, named Americas Number One Flamenco Dancer by Fox’s hit show So You Think You Can Dance. During the party, Nuñez will showcase his flamenco talent for industry heavyweights, who will also have a chance to see the trailer for Solo Duet.

The celebrities scheduled to attend the event include Chris Hemsworth, Elsa Pataky, Andy Garcia, Eva Longoria, Jennifer Love Hewitt, Lupe Ontiveros, Nadine Velazquez, Craig Robinson, Jayson Blair, and Sofia Milos, among others.
